We enjoyed Mickey's Bar and Grill back across in Arkansas Pass. It had 4 tables of fishing guides taking their wives out for dinner so you know the food is good. Beer was cold.

I've been on a couple of dates at Roosevelts but that doesn't sound like the type of place you're looking for

The Brewery might be a little closer to what you're looking for

Disclaimer I've only been once several years ago. I remember them having a few in house beers as well as others. Good but not great overall beer selection. I remember enjoying a burger there.

Stingrays is a cool sports bar with bar food. Build your own pizza probably the best thing.

Crazy Cajun is really good for being on the island so far from coonass land. Do really good crawfish in season if you don't mind spending $10/lb

Venetian Hot plate is pretty decent Italian. You can get to go for cheap.

I'll remember some more in the morning

San Juan is good Mexican. If you're fishing, you can go by and pick up some breakfast burritos early. I recommend the chorizo, egg and cheese.

I think The Phoenix has the best food on the island. The cheeseburgers at the Brewery are hard to beat, too.

I hope you've made it off of the island.
