I'm going to Mansfield this Friday. Are there any good places to eat in Mansfield?

Highway 171 Café
Billy B's Cajun Café (not open every day)
There's a local fried chicken place that's good, don't remember the name.

Don't have the link handy, but search for the Louisiana Food Board Map and see what is near there...

I know the owners of this jewel of a franchise. Excellent yard bird.

We always used to stop on the way back from the lake. Great chicken. Second only to Mr. Jim's in Shreveport for me.

I think you can find it online. Mainly burgers, etc from what i remember. I think they're open Wed thru Saturday.

Seriously, do not miss Southern Classic! Drive through and get some. It is the best fried chicken you will ever eat. There is a Popeyes next door and I don't really know how it stays open. Many locals get their chicken at Southern Classic and then drive through Popeyes for sides. I have family there. Billy B's is probably the best sit down restaurant. Not much there.

Thanks everyone for the info. I think it will be between the chicken place and billy Bs. Depends on what everyone else wants.

Billy B's is your best bet.
