Heading to Pitt in August for Pirates series. Need food, bar and luxury hotel recs.

There is a Renaissance hotel about 2 blocks from the Pirates stadium that is very nice.

I went there for the LSU/WVU game. We ate at Primanti's every meal. It was open 24 hours, was located at the stadium and airport, and it sells beer. I was pleased.

I liked the bologna with fried egg and all the other toppings.

Justin Secerino is up there and he is a badass. Believe his flagship is called Cure. Go eat there.
