i heard a rumor while i was in town this weekend that they had opened a new pancho's in br recently ... anybody know if this is true and where it is?

They haven't opened one in BR yet, but it is in the works.

No, finding the right location is apparently all that's holding things up at this point. The ideal situation is that they find a building that once housed a buffet.
They are also working on opening up a Westbank location.

Yea...on Nicholson before it meets Gov't. It used to be a Ryder Truck storage place or something.

Pretty sure he was asking about the one on Florida next to the Broadmoor movie theater. The one on Nicholson across from Phil's & Nick's Shell looked long closed when I came to LSU.

yea the one on nicholson closed i wanna say in the early 90's ... and i was depressed for a week when the one on florida closed

When I was in high school the football team got off at 11 on game day and got $5 to go eat lunch. This is where we went and had sopapilla, enchilada and whatever eating contests. Starting tight end ate must have been 400 meat enchiladas.
7 pm kick off at Olympia stadium. Mid way through the first quarter we're in the huddle. Broadmoor beating the crap out of us already. Tightends stomach is rumblin somethin fierce. He sprints for the sidelines, coaches, players, officials, cheerleaders, fans bewildered, past the bench, through the gate, around the concession stand and straight to the lockerroom. All the way shite is pouring down the back of his white football pants like Uncle Jeds bullet hit his arse snd black gold was gushing.
We laughed our asses off. End of the $5 dollars and early time off.
He transfered not long after.
