It's just ok. Ate at Lou Malnatis last summer and was disappointed.

I also don't think it's pizza. It's tomato pie.

There on business, I assume? Do you need restaurant recs, or need to know where to go for a beer?

Thirsty Lion is near you for beer (I haven't been to that one). There are lots of restaurants right there in the area. Voodoo donuts is close by. The donuts probably aren't worth the wait, but it can be an interesting experience waiting in line if the weather is good. Just across the river is Cascade brewery(specializing in sour beers), Hair of the Dog brewery, The Commons brewery, Apex Bar, and The Beer Mongers. Apex probably has the best tap list you will ever see outside of a special event. The Beer Mongers is just a cool hole in the wall place.

There are also food trucks galore in that area, and the Blazers are in town Saturday night.

Business.

Added your recommendations to my growing list of places to visit.

Watching the Blazers take on the Lakers one night.

Blazer's are hurting. All their bigs are getting injured - Aldridge, Robinson, Freeland, Leonard...

There is a nice brewery right by the Moda Center called Upright Brewing. It's in the basement of a building across the street. Damn near impossible to find without a map, but very, very good Belgian brews. Also, there is a cart that serves Laurelwood beer in the Moda Center. They serve the best beer in the Arena, IMO. Workhorse IPA or Free Range Red are good. There's a lot of other brewers in there, too (Widmer, Pyramid, Portland Brewing, and of course, BMC).

Just down the street is a nice restaurant called Produce Row.

Be warned, I may be steering you towards craft beer places that I tend to favor.

I've always assumed they do the buffet in triangles so one can't order a pizza not from the buffet (rectangles), get a takeout box to take home leftovers, and load the box up with buffet pizza.
