Going on a family vacation to Orange Beach in June. I have never been and need opinions on the best seafood places there

I love orange beach, seafood is kinda lacking there. The gulf isn’t bad though.

There isn't any. Head down to county road 10 and hit up the Tin Top.

30A is a high priced area past Panam City on down to Mexico Beach. It’s beautiful but it’s getting more crowded as well and the douches there are insufferable. Back to your question, Big Fish is in a strip mall but the food is first rate. Fisherman’s Corner is below the inter coastal bridge going to other way. Sunset Grille is a nice venue. I would also visit the Ole River Bar across the street from Flora Bama, not bc the food is great but the atmosphere is perfect. It’s on the bay side so boats and kayaks can pull up to beach area, usually some live music, can bring dogs, kid friendly, lots of TVs and great frozen drinks.

The Gulf, DeSoto's, the Original Oyster House, Doc's are a few of the good ones. If you decide you need a break from seafood one night, Big Mike's is a really good steak option.

Water quality is hit and miss. Sometimes you can catch it clear but most of the time it's green/brownish. You'll rarely catch it Caribbean clear like you can catch it in the Destin area often.

Don't mistake that for being "dirty" though. Unless there is seaweed or an algae bloom, the water is typically clean.
