I noticed work has started on 2 new buildings on Airline in between hwy 73 and hwy 74. Does anyone have an idea what's being built? 1 looks like it could be a zaxbys/canes.... The other has big square windows that looks similar to Chili's /outback, etc.

Also what's being built on the on the other side of street from Leblancs?

I know they are putting in a Walmart Neighborhood market right across from Leblanc's (soon to be Rouses)

They are also doing phase II on the Leblanc's shopping center. The only thing I know for sure going in there is Lit pizza.

There is a second Zaxby's being built in Gonzales but that is down by Piccadilly.

Yep, looks like Zaxby's is planning to go head to head against Cane's in that location. I don't think it will end well for them...

I tried it. The burger and fries were nearly inedible with salt overload. My 4 year old who seems to crave salt took one bite and told me he couldn't eat it, it was "nasty salty." One and done for us.
