My group is dining at Commander's Palace, Tableau and August next week. I thought I saw on the internet that all of these restaurants allow you to bring your own bottle of wine. Does anyone know the rules (how many bottles can your bring, cost, etc.) at these restaurants? My group likes to drink really good wine (Silver Oak, Opus One, etc) and we would prefer to bring our own bottles. Any experience doing this?

Tableau absolutely blows. Change that if you can.

I always figure 20-30/bottle.

Why would you not want to take advantage of Commanders wine program while dining there?

"Fun Bunch: Link"

I saw that article. Didn't know if it was still current. That is why I asked.

Commander's does a great wine list, but we have wines we like to partake that are not on their online wine list (2007 Caymus Reserve, 2011 Quintessa. 1993 Siler Oak, etc.).

You should probably call them, quicker than getting the info in this thread. And it will be accurate.
