Need ur help

We celabrated my Mothers 87th birthday here in Monroe for the last few days. Despite her age, she is awesome. My sister and I , were cooking lunch this morning. She tells us that our rice sucks, I am gonna cook it myself. I am here to tell you that we were not disapoinnted.

She fried it, i guess

1/4 cup olive oil in a large cast pot, heated,l/2 cup rice stirred until oil absorbed and browned. Added 1/2 cup ground onions, 1/2 cup jalepenos + any other seasonings you could want. After waiting for the mlu firedepartment to show up.. poured in about three cups of water, wait until boil bubbles appear, cut off fire, mamaw will tell u when ready to eat !!ready to eat.
