There is cleaning too. Gas is just way easier to deal with on a weekday, there is no denying that.

I walk out to my patio. I turn on the propane tank valve. I open the grill. I turn the burner valves on. I press a button.

My grill is on and warming. This process takes about 9.3 seconds. It's not just time. It's less hassle for both prep and cleanup. I never buy charcoal nor do I buy lighter fluid, nor matches, etc.

just cook in your oven and stove. You dont need a gas grill to do the same shite.

I have the char grilled combo and do not like it. After a couple years the thin metal just doesn't hold up. In the market for a new combo grill. I like the Oklahoma Joe brand at Academy. Much heavier metal. Does anyone have one of those?

I like having a gasser and a charcoal grill. Gas is great for quick and easy, like searing a couple of ribeyes last night after they were cooked sous vide.

The charcoal Weber kettle is great when I have more time and want some smoke flavor. It gets used for everything from jerk chicken to smoked duck.

A good kettle only costs $150, so have both.
