Moscato is the fastest growing segment in the wine industry. It's the new white zin.

I personally do not like sweet wines, but you guys seem to be using it like rufies and not drinking it for pure enjoyment. I'll take your word for it that it lubricates well. It would certainly look better on a toxicology screen.

I tried a bottle of the 2010 Columbia Crest Grand Estates Moscato a few weeks ago and it was actually pretty good. Fwiw, Wine Specatator rated the wine 89 points.

It's not a wine I would serve with a meal. It's too sweet for that, IMO. However, as an aperitif on a summer evening, or as a wine to serve with a cheese and fruit platter, I would not hesitate to serve the particular wine that I just mentioned. And at roughly $11 a bottle it's a good buy.
