Robérts Fresh Market from New Orleans bought those two stores to get in the BR market.

Matherne's has some quality people in place. I hope this doesn't mean contraction or a change in job description for those guys.

So they are hanging on the downtown store only?

I hope they don't screw up the hot food deli on highland......they gonna mess with my emotions if they do.

I hope they don't mess with their wine specials, either. They have a great selection and often good prices.

Hoping the fried catfish stays the same.

Keep the fried chicken the same it's the best in town...highland road store is better than bluebonnet=...also keep the chicken salad it's the best

I shopped at the Claiborne Roberts a good bit. Meh produce. Awesome meat. Meh beer selection. Decent, small wine selection. The only reason I ever shopped there was out of convenience. It's expensive.
