Chineese take out favorite, anyone have a recipe that can be made at home for this or other chineese resturant dishes?

Dude, its only $4 for mandarin chicken w/ pork fried rice and an egg roll at King's Wok on Jefferson Hwy. You can't make it with cheap ingredients for that cheap.

I live 80 miles from Jefferson Highway. We only have one take out and buffet style chineese resturants in Franklinton, La. Neither does a good job at making this dish.

I am a pretty big fan of Mandarin chicken and I will be monitoring the progress of this thread with eager anticipation of the numerous potentially wonderful recipes I might discover.
