I’m about to start doing larger cooks for my kid’s school functions. Probably looking at feeding 50-100 people a few times a month. I have a Dutch oven I use on the stove top but I need to go big. Need the pot and burner and was wondering where ti look other than lowes, HD and academy.

Check Baldwin-Taylor Hardware on Jefferson Hwy.

Get at least a 15 gallon if you are cooking for 100. I have a 10 gallon and I can do 75 plates on a full pot.
If you are going to be cooking that much get an R&R welders setup. It’s gonna to be $600 for the 15 gallon setup but it will be worth. I love mine.

King Kooker is headquartered near Clearview and Earnhart. It's not top of the line, but what they sell at a lot of Academy, etc.
I don't know if they still do, but they used to sell off their slightly damaged pots and accessories very cheap.

It is indeed located there (St. George Ave.) but I doubt they do retail. Their scratch and dent sales are phenomenal but aren’t held that frequently.

If Caire Restaurant Supply doesn’t have it, they can order it

If you are still trying to find a unit, I work at King Kooker. Baldwin Taylor will have our product as well as other options right around the corner but if you are looking for a cheaper setup that is not brand new I can probably find you something as UPS doesn't treat shipments as delicately as one would hope.
We have a basic 10 gallon cast iron pot setup (with aluminum lid - not cast iron) that fits in frame with a cast burner (60,000 BTU.)
It's not as fancy or heavy duty as some custom units available but it does the trick. We've probably cooked and served over 10,000 bowls of jambalaya over the last 30 years using it.
E-mail me at - dreaddub@gmail.com if interested. Cheers.
