Not an advertisement, just tired of seeing the "Where can I get live crawfish threads" every Friday.

There is an app now called The Crawfish App -- its available on Apple and Android. The owners of the app call all the vendors each week and update their prices. I think this should solve the issue.

Happy boiling

I was talking to the group at Gumbo Fest the other day, and know the creator personally. He is very dedicated to doing it right. I suggested out-sourcing, but he's not willing to do that until he has a 100% verifiable way of doing so. Until then, the prices are what he calls and gets becasue thats the guaranteed verification for him.

Just downloaded but they don't have any Monroe restaurants yet. I don't want to inundate the guy with 4 new restaurants, but why have two hole-in-the-wall places in Ruston but not Monroe?

Am I going to break the guy's will by making him service NELA?

should also allow business owners to put their own prices in with a log in

maybe also enable user submitted prices but have that shown on its own

hence why it would be shown separate from the app owner verified prices but like an app called gas buddy other users could verify the price making it "more" reliable.

Someone did an app like this a couple of years ago and it was terrible, only had a few locations and was out of date all the time.

Good buddy of mine and his wife are behind this and I vouched for it last weekend before it was available. As far as adding new places, that's the whole point and I can assure you that you're not wasting their time- the more the better. User feedback is appreciated.

I'm sure it's hard work to brute force it, but I'm glad somebody finally did.

The app is a great idea but it doesn't look like it lets you change your location once you've set it. Kind of annoying. I guess I have to delete and re-download it.
