Mr Bills, seafood palace, darrels are all solid choices good local joints very casual. Mazens is dressy and havent been there since I ordered snapper and they brought me black drum or whatever it was it wasnt snapper.ShaSha's of creole is susposed to have good la seafood, its downtown

Somebody posted here a few months ago that Fat Cat's Cafe was awesome. I haven't tried it, but a friend of mine in Lake Chuck agrees that their food is good.

121 Artisan Bistro (formerly Deangelos) is really good. I like Pats of Henderson for seafood.

Chastains has good burgers too.
