25 years ago it was the best kept secret in the FQ. No one really ventured past St. Ann Street, so those of us that knew about it could enjoy a quiet little bar with a cool piano away from tourists.

The wife and I usta go there often back before the city became a sanctuary war zone. Usta be quiet with good sit by the piano put ya drink on it and visit with the piano players. JB Davis was there lots then and for a while we were there so often he knew our name. After Katrena it got crowded and touristy and we moved to frenchman street for our music bars. Now we seldom go to the city and only in daylight.
