I can no longer keep this gem to myself.
Think tex mex, but done to cater to actual mexicans.
Charro bean soup is a must have.
You can get victoria in the michelada.
The chilaquilas are great as well.
Excellent is you're in the area or passing through.

in Opelousas is my favorite. A lot of these are owned/operated by different people and this one has great cooks and food. I've eaten at others around the area and this one is so much better than all the rest.
