Did this place shut down? I called the phone number as listed from a Google search, and the number was disconnected.

Still open yesterday. The most people there since its opened. ??? Always has been an enigma. Never saw many customers there. Now seems to be Running on thin staff to stay alive. Maybe they will get some BP money to bring them back into full bloom.

They're open and if you go around 6 expect to wait. They were significantly understaffed when I went last week.

I was under the impression they did really well. But it's more of a take-out place so not surprised you don't see people lined up all the time.

Thanks man, but that is the number I called. A recording said the number was disconnected. Also, the website is not available. I will definitely give it a try though.

How were they? I was thinking the OP was talking about the Perkins location but maybe not?

They were good. More medium sized(which I prefer) than smaller. Had a very nice spice to them.

I don't know how much they were (wife picked them up), but I want to say a little over $4 a lb

Perkins has been keeping strange hours. Not sure what's up. They were closed early last Saturday too. Might have run out of bugs.
