I need to quickly pick up a king cake in an hour or two. These are the closest places. Which one is better.

Thanks!

bullshite.
They aren't as good as Haydels or Randazzo's, but they are better than you standard grocery store crap.

They sell and ship more than anyone during mardi gras season.

Was not impressed with the Queen Cake from Rouses, tried the Sea Salted Caramel one. As far as King cakes, Rouses is way better than Albertsons.

Rouses has good King Cake for a grocery store. Obviously not as good as the bakery King Cakes, but still the best of the grocery ones.

I've never had a Rouses's king cake, but surely it has to be better than the crap they have at Albertsons.

FWIW I found District Donuts Cream Cheese King Cake to be very underwhelming.

I bought a large cream cheese/praline king cake from Rouse's. It was was made hours before purchasing it (fresh). It was definitely better than any grocery king cake I had ever eaten. It was gone in no time. Everyone seemed to love it.
