Doesn't have to be expensive (I spend less per cup than a french press) and "objectively" is not the proper word.

Really depends on the beans but yeah, it is pretty easy to spend more.

Sorry to derail OP.

you are making this personal for some reason. You have something against me and that is pretty sad.

This is simply not true. All I know of you is from what you post. You do this snob thing that is really annoying.

I spend more on a per cup basis using the FP with the same beans.

I use about a tablespoon per cup in the Kcup filter thing. Much more with the FP.

I've also derailed it a bit as well.

huh, well maybe i am wrong about the price difference.

We had keurig at my office but you had to buy your own pods or bring the filter. We also had CC's packets but my boss would get grumpy that we would make a packet for two people or three people in the afternoon. So he "gave" us his keurig from his hunting camp. The thing was a dirty piece of shite, no matter how much we cleaned it. Maybe that is why i hate them so much.

I ended just buying a cold brew toddy and filling water bottles to leave in the fridge.

I used an AeroPress for a while when doing Whole30 in an attempt to go black. It was fine, but not enough better to justify those steps over the Bunn pods. These,

No plastic cup. Basically grounds wrapped in a filter.
