i thought this would be gross but I tried it at a restaurant and it was actually really good -fried rice dressing balls

How could you have ever thought that would have been gross? Fried rice dressing is very close to a boudin ball.

One of my favorite things fried is stuffed bread slices. We take Bridgford Bread and roll it out then stuff it with a dressing mix/cheese/onions/smoked sausage mixture and then bake it. Let it cool, slice it about 1" thick, dip in eggwash then into flour and panko, then deep fry. It's amazing.

Oh it gets better too....and then it gets worse, then better, then, .....well you get the picture.

Since March of this year I have had a single 2 week period pain free. The last 10 days have been good too.

But hey, life's a biotch and then ya die. The pains remind me I'm enjoying the former while avoiding the latter.

Now back to your previously scheduled gastronomic elucidations.

okra

Not that frozen breaded crap from the store. Fresh okra, sliced and lightly breaded with corn meal and S&P. (Put it all in a paper bag and shake.)

Fry until well done. Salt it, and eat like popcorn.

Frying stuff is all about experimentation. Take whatever leftovers you have, create a batter/breading/etc for the outside, adjust portion size/temp to make sure the outside is done about the same time as the inside and boom...fried food goodness.
