All taste the same. Every single one I've had tastes exactly alike. I can't tell a difference like I can with other beers. Even the home brewed ones taste like all the others. It's like drinking unsweetened grapefruit juice, which I like btw. I just don't see why everyone busts a nut over them. Help me out. Give me an IPA that sets itself apart from the others.

I can find a difference in IPA... although my first times drinking I could not tell as they all tasted like flowers.
Now though I can pick up the pine, or citrus, etc...

What have you tried?

I had no idea what an ipa was until last year I went to a brewery. I can't imagine drinking a bunch of them while tailgating or a similar situation. It's too much. I can appreciate the taste but after half of it I'm done.

I like them, some are definitely better than others and you can taste the difference. But they are way overhyped. And usually after 2 or so I'm ready to switch back to a lighter beer.

IPA's are the shittiest tasting beers I've ever tried. Just plain nasty. Ive tried plenty and tried to like them but they all taste like shite. All of them.

I like IPAs very much, but I also like seeing the perspective that some people hate them.

IPA's are the beer for the Emperor with no clothes as everyone lies about how nice they are. Pure trashy, pinky out, pretend you're cool while drinking the swill.
I hate Bud Light and Coors Light but they are slightly superior to any IPA.
