I accidentally over salted. gosh darn store bought chicken stock

I know about putting a potato in there to absorb some salt. I don't have a potato. But a have a sweet potato. Should I try it? I say no

Couldn't hurt. Tie some rice up in cheese cloth and drop in there . Corn works well also, more for soaking up spiciness, but does cut salinity too.

I know it's too late for this batch, but I try to buy low salt chicken stock. America's Test Kitchen said so!!
