For a place that shut down due to lack of business, it sure as hell got a lot of internet buzz

Yea it closed for good. You'd think with the number of threads started about Mama Della's they'd have a line out the door at all times

Such an obscure location...I'd be surprised if Pat's lasts over 3 years. Heck, even DeAngelo's closed down their Jefferson location a few months ago. Just an odd spot of town IMO.

Mediocre pizza, overpriced, and served with a healthy dose of bad attitude in a location that hasn't prospered since Ground Pati closed its doors. What could possibly go wrong?

The pizza was easily the best in town, but that was basically the only thing they had going for them. He basically thought that if he built it, they would come, not really considering that he needed to pick a niche. If he located downtown with foot traffic, he probably would have been fine. If he had built something more upscale like Pizza Domenica, he probably would have been fine. Instead, he opened a business that looked like it served $8 pizzas to children and charged over $20 a pie for them. I never once ate a pizza inside that building. However, because of the kind of pizza, it didn't hold up well to take out. Only reason I ever ordered from there was because I live close enough to practically throw a rock and hit it, so takeout wasn't an issue for me. If you didn't live in the neighborhood, you had no reason ever to go.
