How far are we from every restaurant offering brunch?

Seems like the better question these days is who doesn't do brunch, not who does.

Where was this 10-15 years ago? Did restaurants not see the potential in offering brunch, or was it simply not in vogue back then?

Seems like it was invented for restaurants who only want to be open for part of the day on Sunday.

It's definitely gaining popularity. I would say it depends most on the kitchens that can handle two different menus at once.

Agree. Chance to make a bunch of money serving a limited menu.

It's maddening in Athens, GA if you are ever looking for a meal at 3pm on a Sunday.

In BR, seems like the same old restaurants have always done brunch. I cant really name many that added brunch after being open for awhile.

On a side note, brunch kinda sucks and is a waste of money

We went to brunch at The Chimes Sunday and I was kinda surprised to see that Doe's Eat Place doesn't offer brunch.

We like to go to a Mexican place that has a badass brunch. Different stuff every week.

Also another place that does a lot of non typical brunch food.

Not everything is eggs benedict (although I do like eggs bene too)

Believe it or not, brunch is a hangover cure for me because I typically get trashed on saturday nights and wake up feeling like dog shite. There are a few ways to get over that Sunday morning hump, and alcohol is key. Combine that with some sort of greasy breakfast/lunch infusion on a plate, and I'm right back on the saddle instead of melted to my couch.
