Houston/Baytown Restaurant Reccomendations

Two good friends of mine are going out on a first date tonight and he wants to go to Pappadeaux's, but she doesn't. I feel like choosing that restaurant is typical anyway.
Could you guys please give me some nice restaurants in that are that I could recommend to him?
Also, would you guys happen to know of any really good florists in that area?

Is it Houston or Baytown? It's a good ways to downtown or the nicer areas of Houston. The east side is very meh.

She lives in Baytown, but they can go to a place in either city.

original carabbas on kirby has always been good. there are hundreds of places in Houston that are good.
