Do any of you make your own fruit wine? and If so, what kind? Last night I pulled the trigger on ordering all the necessary hardware, and I'm wanting to make strawberry wine. Any tips or recommendations?

I used to make Dandelion wine, which is actually quite good, when I was in college. The major lesson I learned is to remove all of the green parts (I'm sure it is the same for strawberries). If you left any portion of that, it made the wine really bitter

I've made lots of diff fruit wines. Strawberro, wild cherry, even made it using grits and raisons. There are lots of recipes on the net. Use a vent on your jugs to keep the oxy, atmosphere out of the jug.

I've read that strawberry wine can be tricky. Anything you've noticed when making it?
