I see this has great reviews on Amazon. My sister mentioned she wanted one for Christmas (more specifically for beef jerky).
How is yours holding up and would you recommend it from your personal experience with it?

i have an electric smoker. How do you smoke beef jerky?

I made beef jerky years ago and it always turned out great.
Marinate the strips of meat as shown in other posts here.
But you don't need a smoker or a dehydrator. You can use an oven.
Simply pierce each strip with a tooth pick and use the pick to hang each strip on the wire rack of your oven. Place a drip pan underneath.
Then turn your oven on to the lowest possible temp and prop the door slightly open with a metal spoon or ladle. This is to allow moisture to escape.
Go to bed. You'll have beef jerky in the morning.
