Just got back from 10 day Japan trip. Searched all around Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto & Kobe. Even the Distillery was dry. Finally the day before leaving Japan, thanks to IHG Osaka, where we was staying, they hooked us up with a place that had some in stock.
I was able to score a 12, 17 & 21 for my collection. Was able to taste the 30 at the Yamazaki Distillery but 5k was a bit more than I was willing to spend for it.
Also picked up a Yamazaki 18. All elite stuff IMO, but man, the hype and price surge has gotten out of hand!

The best thing I tried at the distillery, Hakushu 25 and Hibiki 17 Mizunara only at the distillery.
