Heady Topper beer

What is the deal with this stuff? Is it some kind of joke? It is being super hyped right now all over Phish lots

Great beer that is a top 3 beer in the US for sure. It's limited suply does add to the hype somewhat I would say.

Highest rated beer on Beer Advocate. Most people I know who have tried it consider it the best double IPA out there, or at least one of the best.

Of course, the fact that it is limited in quantity and only available in Vermont only fuels the hype. But it is legit for sure.

Ah, now that Phish connection makes sense

Yeah, the Vermont angle makes a ton of sense.

I have two cans left from the trip to VT last month. It lives up to the hype. Big DIPA taste but it doesn't nuke your taste buds. Also it is unfiltered and unpasteurized, so this is fresh beer. If you can get your hands on a can you will not be disappointed.
