I live right down the street from there and have never been. It doesn't usually look crowded but it has been open for a few years now. Just wondering if it's decent. I love street tacos. I may have to run by there this week and check it out.

I would go by and try it for yourself. You will probably get mixed reviews on here but I love it.

You are probably right. We get takeout about once per week but the Jasmine's, Albasha, Dempsey's and Chimes rotation gets old. I love all of those but would like another option near the house.

I live close by too and it's in our rotation. The tortillas are homemade, really really good. The guacamole is good, not a huge fan of the rice or beans. Generous filling on the tacos, all the ones I've tried are good, sometimes get the quesadilla though.

We also like Casa la Vida next door, when we're more in the mood to sit and drink margaritas at the bar

I went when i used to live in the area and it was my go-to for tacos. Homemade tortillas and fresh ingredients. I always enjoyed it but doesn't seem like many people have any been to have an opinion on the place.

Definitely one of the better taco places and prolly the best in that area(not many to choose from to begin with)

Solid food. The drive thru is an added bonus where you're on the go.

I’ll grab it for lunch every once in awhile, don’t care for the brisket but tacos & quesadillas are better than most places around
Casa La Vida is good too

Store bought tortillas.

Store bought bag shredded cheese.

Store bought salsa.

The only thing they make in house is the meats, which are flavorful but dry.

Also...overpriced.

If you want street tacos, Mr. Taco on Airline is the only answer.

Edit: haven't been in years, seems from this thread they've at least started making their own tortillas.

So they make meat but buy everything else? Is this a Jurassic park taco shop?

I give them props for making their own tortillas but I didn’t like either taco that I tried.
