Popeye's stopped the spicy tenders a few years ago in BR, or at least the one that I go to.

It blows away Cane's.

Really?

The ones in N.O. always just fry the tenders to order, and they can put them in either batter you wish.

Yep. I use to get the spicy tenders until one day they told me they only have mild. That was a couple of years ago. The menu in BR seems to have less options than in NO.

I don't think so...you get to choose two dipping sauces, and get fries and hush puppies...got the all you can eat chicken tenders and catfish strips for like $8.99 or so

Yeah, I don't understand why a place won't just fry you some in the spicy batter.

The ones in BR don't carry spicy strips for some reason. They're all over the rest of the state except for the two popeyes I've been to in the Monroe area, they also don't have them.

As far as

Not quite true. The last two times I've gotten them at two NOLA area popeyes the strips have been room temperature (Carrolton and Gretna)

the mild/spicy tenders vary by franchise. for some reason i rather the mild tenders, not sure why i love spicy foods and prefer their chicken spicy.

How is that place? It looks like a dump and it's right by popeyes and canes.
