Prepared Gumbo Mixes
I recommend the Blue Runner. Just add chicken and sausage and you're good. Not as tasty as Momma's, but it'll do in a pinch.

Thansk for your service.... order Mam Pauls if you can and throw some chicken and sausage in it.

How hard is it to get stuff shipped to you?

This works when in a jam. Two boxes makes a big arse pot, you can add more water, just taste it when cooking.

I'd be willing to bet you could one of these gumbo cooking baws to ship you some frozen gumbo that you could heat in your crockpot. I'll do it, but it would be my second gumbo, so you might want to make me your last resort.
Stay safe.

Yes you can make gumbo in a crock pot. It's not the best, but it can be done. If you don't have access to roux, try a can of brown gravy mix from Tony's. Again, not Ideal, but it'll work sort of.
I did similar many times in college. Would put cut up whole chicken, onions, bell pepper, celery, okra, green onions, and a few shakes of Tony's seasoning blend in the crock pot. Mix up enough water and Tony's Instant Roux Mix to fill the pot.
I usually put a hunk or two of sausage in too, then went to bed drunk and let it all cook over night.
The sausage would be cooked to death by morning, so I waited to add most of it, and some more green onions, in the morning for a little more cook time. I'd also use tongs and a fork to remove the chicken bones and skin.
It wouldn't win a contest, but it was pretty damned good under the circumstances.

Not hard at all. It just takes about 10-15 days to get here, then I have to take a helo to pick it up which could add another few days.

That would be great if it would stay frozen for the 10-15 days it would take to get to me.
