Looks like a fun event, but I'll probably stay away, as that place will be packed.

I went to the last one they did and it was very packed. Add that to no servers, meaning you have to wait at the bar every time you want a drink, and its really not worth it. You'll spend most of you time standing by the bar waiting to order than you will hanging out with your friends. The tacos were really good though fwiw

The stuff I tried from them wasn't awful, it was just average and nothing special. There are a lot of breweries that put out average stuff that stay in business. Ditto restaurants.

Have you ever been to the grocery beer cooler and watched someone pull out a sixer of Jockamo (I know, now defunct), and you want to say to them, "Dude, try this DDH Envie!", but you probably just keep your mouth shut because then there's more for you? That guy is keeping mediocre breweries in business.

Also, people like supporting local products. There are probably a lot of people who support Tin Roof because it's a Baton Rouge brewery, and even if you think it sucks, it's still a helluva lot better than Budweiser. It's all relative...

Voodoo is a great beer and it sells out fast as well. I heard the owners brought in a new brewmaster and staff. Maybe someone here can confirm if this is true or not but all the other beers pretty much sucked until this one and I seek it out.

If I could get Ghost and Envie in cans I would be happy too.

Is Canebreak the only non-IPA beer they make?

They do south coast which is an amber, reve' coffee stout, and grand reserve barley win. Envie is a pale ale, but drinks more like an IPA.

The Fuzz is a peach wheat ale, but I believe it was only available in the taproom when it was out earlier this year.

Don't forget the "sours" they do on occasion at the tap room. However, if you want to buy it outside the tap room then South coast, Grand Reserve, Imperial Reserve hot the shelves once, and Reve just did
