Let's start a list of where to eat/drink for Tigers heading to Green Bay. Thanks in advance.

I saw a place on food network, prime quarter steak house where you cook your own steak in the restaurant. Looked like fun and good food

I just came back from Minnesota. If the food is anything like that. Better bring some Tony's with you. You had to put salt on literally everything. An obscene amount of pizza places. I didn't know Italians settled in middle America.

Where in Minnesota? If you were in the Twin Cities, I hope you didn't eat too much pizza. The culinary scene throughout Minneapolis is terrific.

I can help if Tigers will be traveling through Chicago, Madison, and Milwaukee prior to Green Bay.

- Not a huge fan of their beers, but Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery has an excellent setting on the river. Nice patio spot.

- BarNone is a cool dive-bar on Water Street, which is a pretty lively area of downtown Milwaukee on the weekend. Tight space, but you'll get a stiff drink.

- Trinity might be the most well-known bar in Milwaukee as its a group of three interconnected Irish Pubs, with an abundance of patio space, on Water Street. If they're in town, you're bound to see some Milwaukee Bucks players here.

- As long as you're downtown, Old German Hall is a solid place. Only been there once, myself, but like many spots in Wisconsin, Old German Hall does a Friday Night Fish Fry.

- Lakefront Brewery only about a mile north on the western-half of the Milwaukee River. I've never been a huge Amber fan, but their Riverwest Stein's are terrific.

- Not sure how old you are, but there are plenty of bars lining water street. You'll see quite a few young professionals and college students.

That's fair.

Mader's is one of the most well-known restaurants in Milwaukee. Great German establishment with an extensive menu of main dishes and a solid list of beers, including German imports and Spotted Cow.

Mo's is a steakhouse also in Houston and Indianapolis. You'll get great service and it isn't overly expensive.

Rumpus Room is an upscale pub with a rotating draft list and huge list of liquor.

If you're looking for a good dessert, drive up to Kopp's in Whitefish Bay and grab a custard.

Lakefront IPA is a fantastic IPA.

As for Milwaukee, you can try Bayview neighborhood. Lots of bars and restaurants.

Madison I've only been there for a dinner. Went to a place called The Old Fashioned. By the capital building. Cheese curds

Green Bay has Chili John's which is an institution.

If venture in the southern part of Wisconsin, you can check out New Glarus Brewery of the renowned Spotted Cow. Overrated beer, but good.

If coming in from Chicago, be sure to stop at the Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha.

Rumpus Room, as I mentioned in my previous post, has a rotating list of beers. You'll find quite a few craft beers from breweries around Wisconsin.

Another extensive craft beer list of Wisconsin brews is Uber Tap Room. If on tap, I highly-recommend Fantasy Factory (Karben4).

I would also make sure to stop at Stubby's. They have some very good beers on their list and routinely get Sofie, Zombie Dust, and Todd the Axeman (my favorite beer from Surly).

Old Fashioned is one of the many bars/restaurants lining Capitol Square. I could go on-and-on about this area, but you'll find tremendous food (i.e. Graze, Tornado, L'Etoile), beer (i.e. Coopers Tavern), and cocktails (i.e. Merchant, Lucille's, Opus).

New Glarus is an easy stop if you're going to GB from Madison.

Agreed that Spotted Cow is an overrated beer, but it's still a solid Cream Ale that goes down easy with any meal.

There is a saying that the further North you go the worse food is and the uglier the women are. I went to South Bend and Canada and it is TRUE.

Bring seasonings with you. When I went to Canada someone with the same company told all of us who had lived in Houston for a while, not all from Texas or Louisiana, that if you wanted spicy food to go to a gyro place. Everyone was disappointed and had to add Tabasco sauce to the crap food to taste it.

We were there three weeks and saw one really hot chick at a steak restaurant the company took us to.

Anyway, what I had heard is true - the further North you go the worse the food is and the uglier the women are.

We'll be staying in Milwaukee Thursday until Saturday morning at the brewhouse inn on 10th. Any craft beer nearby?
