He was fricking with you about Mr Gattis. But I did get a coupon in mail and it's good for a $5 buffet. All the other suggestions would be on my list. Diguilios, Ginos, Galatoires, Jubans etc.

No that would be Roberto's you're thinking of.

I have heard Beausoleil was good and was considering Ruffinos.

I'd pick Beausoliel or Mansurs or Ruth's Chris.

Guess it'll be Italian considering the majority of recommendations.

I'd do Beausoleil over Ruffino's.

I think that after Beausoleil, I'd go Mansur's or French Market Bistro (same owners). Their menus are most similar to Beausoleil.

I've gone to Ruffino's twice in the past few months where I was underwhelmed with the food.

Don't go to RC in BR since you can go to the one in Birmingham.

Louisiana Lagniappe... get their crabcakes as an appetizer and then get the Crevettes for your entree.

What's up with Ruffino's? Haven't heard many good things lately about it.

If you want Italian Ginos or Ruffinos are good. If you want at taste of Louisiana go with Louisiana Lagniappe. You absolutely will not be disappointed.
