Fresh Crawfish Tails

Just returned from Calandro's and they had fresh not frozen Louisiana crawfish tails. First ones I have seen this season. Not the frozen ones from last season selling for $9.99 lb at the grocery stores but this years fresh tails. Kind of pricey at $19.99 lb but Calandro's are always a little on the high side.

Interesting. I actually don’t care if they have been frozen. It isn’t a delicate meat and I almost always have them in a sauce, so I’m not paying a premium for “fresh never frozen”.
