I forgot to soak my red beans last night. Can I quick boil them or should I pick something else to make?

Slow cooker? I didn't soak mine last week and they came out phenomenal.. Cooked for about 8 hours.

I thought about it. We are having people over for the game and some are going to leave early. I think I am going to save them for another weekend and pick something else.

Thanks for the advice

I've stopped soaking beans and they turn out just fine. None of Camellia's recipes call for soaking the beans and I trust the experts.

I wait till they start to break up and turn mushy then I season'um up with some LeBlanc's Creole seasoning.

Boil for 5-10 minutes then let them soak for about an hour in the pot.
