It's my first time trying it. It's not bad.... Kind of a mellow IPA

I agree. I still have not tried Timber Beast. The place I went for dinner tonight had just had a big beer event and they were out of it. Meeting Coater for lunch tomorrow and will hopefully have one then. I'll try and find some in bottles for us.

Agreed. It was cutting edge when they first released it though. I tried it again the other day for the first time in years and I did not like it as much as I remembered liking it. Still good though.
ETA: 4BD is Two Hearted Ale back at the hotel.

4BD Firestone Walker Union Jack IPA. Its up there with Racer5 in goodness.

Unless one of the Krewe of FBD corrects me, I have not had the their IPA. I've had the Double Jack though and it is wonderful. You and I agree on Racer 5. It sets the bar for the style IMO.

Yea, double jack may be better than Endeavour. I have 2 more bombers of double jack left in the fridge. I may save one for the Tigers in the BCS championship game.

5BD is another Two Hearted. I brought a sixer of Two Hearted with me for drinking in the hotel, so it will be my subsequent BDs unless I dig into Coater's box of beer.

Not really a good plan, the hops will be way faded in 5 months.
Racer 5 is the most over rated ipa on this board imo.
