My primo L has been rocking around 250 for about 6 hours now, one batch of royal oak and some chunks of fresh mesquite. I've cooked a small brisket, small butt, and just dropped a chicken on it. Good eating for the next week.

It's only the 4th time I've used it, so I am still working out the vents. So far, it hasn't been as steady as my old trusty rusty vertical smoker, and I've had to run out a bunch to adjust them as the temp rises and falls.

But I love this damn thing.

My last brisket went 17hrs at 225 and then did some sausage indirect heat and only went through 1/2 the lump.

Was delicious! Look forward to doing it again. That's about the longest so far...had some butts that took close to that too. Most the time it was 225 but I kicked it up to 250-260 at the end to hurry it up some...was getting close to eatting time.
