I have a fist full of 20's and a few 50's....

It's very fresh and as a bonus, it's the same color as the teak wood bar!

FBD was a Rogue American Amber- my office staff bought me a basket of beers as a Father's day present, I appreciate the effort but they didn't exactly pick a bunch of winners. I will drink them though.

2BD was a Dirtwolf from my last trip to Houston. Much better.

FBD was an Indianapolis beer:

SBD Stone Enjoy By. Like someone else said, this batch is better than the 4/20 batch. The last one was too boozy, which overshadowed the hops. This one lets the hops shine through. Happy for 12oz bottles of it though.

3LBD is a Hoptimum. First time having, not a big fan. Has to be one of the stronger hop flavors I have had. But, not in the best way. Too resiny and bitter.

All alcohol taste. I´ve had similar concoctions in Spain, which were probably of better raw material and brew quality, but just as overpowering. I was very surprised as to how many people actually liked it.

Yeah I struggled to find new words, I didn't want to use words I use positively most of the time. The best way I can put it, is the combination and intensity of some of the characteristics of this beer are offputting.

Bottlerockets song about Indianapolis

quote:

Sittin' in this bar
Is gettin' more than I could stand
If I could catch a ride
Really think, I'd ditch this van

Who knows what this repair will cost
Scared to spend a dime
I'll puke if that jukebox plays
John Cougar one more time
