pretty good, actually. Specs opened a store last year, and that has really forced everyone else to up their game. For picking up to bring home, I'm pretty happy.

The selection in bars/restaurants is still pretty bad, though, because the average Lubbockite is a BMC devotee. But we have a couple of places I frequent w/ a decent, if small, craft selection.

my mule is on his way back now. snagged a few things, but he called me earlier and told me he was entirely overwhelmed. he really likes his beer, but he doesn't know much about them. he did drink pliny the younger once, so theres that.
