There are some people involved in this thread who seem to try too hard. Of the people who post pics, you and a few others always seem to have a good time while drinking beer as opposed to taking pics of a beer to count how many they've drink. You're pics always make me want to drink a beer. Cheers to you and the others that are doing it right.

FBD - the easy drinkin GOAT

Kim - what's the crowd like over there? I work right down the street, but always hesitated to stop because I work in scrubs. They usually have a nice beer selection and a fantastic bourbon selection from what I've seen.

FBD. I'm going with a thumbs up on this one. I'll buy again - especially at $5.

I hear ya man. I usually pour my beers out as soon as I take the picture and switch to a bud light.

Funny story ....my wife tells me last night my mother-in-law was eating dinner in the living room around 10 (don't ask). It was dark except for the TV light, my wife asked her, "Are you drinking a root beer?" No answer. A few minutes later my wife hears her shriek in horror. "Ohhhh GROSS!" Apparently my know everything MIL mistook a can of OB Gubna for a dr pepper or Delaware punch or whatever the hell she drinks. The fact that she mistakenly took a huge swig of imperial IPA and was absolutely disgusted by it makes up for the fact that she wasted a good beer. In her words "it was the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted." Cheers!

Good story. What if you had a MIL that was a maven, though? How weird would that be

At ease soldier, I didn't have you in mind when I was talking about people trying too hard. There are a few who are obvious. You shouldn't be spending more money on craft beer than your house is worth.

I've never been at night--I just hit it for happy hour every now and then because I work very close too and it is convenient. The crowd at happy hour is a mix of people in their 20s up to old folks like me. You would be fine in scrubs. There are lots of people from the medical buildings across Perkins that frequent the place.
