Fbd- tropical slam. I think I give the edge to this one over the original. Both are great though. Glad I got to try.

Both are great beers. I am probably in the minority, but I gave the edge to the original. Like you, I am just glad that I had the opportunity to drink them.

FBD - Grimm Super Going. Dry hopped Gose with orange and aged on white oak.

Didn't realize it was from June. Just picked it up from Calandro's. Oh well, its still pretty good, but wish it was fresher.

Sounds like the Houston Krewe is going to have a good time this weekend. Where are y'all drinking? Ryno's?

Ryno's patio. I'll probably be sleeping by the fire pit.

Snuck in another Oskar Blues IPA before finishing the night with GOAT and Chai while writing a midterm.

According to my friend from Connecticut, Heady is easier to drink than this -- it's not as hoppy. It doesn't sit on your tongue as long, according to her. She's hardly a maven, but she grew up pounding Heady, so I asked her what she thought.

No I have not tried that one yet. You know what I loved from them about a year ago, That Intergalactic DIPA or whatever that was that came in a bottle with the drawings of fruit among planets and stars.... What the hell was that again? It was awesome

The Intergalactic was a couple of weeks ago. I think you're referring to The Incredible.
