I like OS. Hit up Government Street Grocery. It's a lot like Chelsea's Cafe, except with better food and a better beer selection (and I liked Chelsea's a lot).
What's the name of that bar not too far from Government Street Grocery? It made an Esquire list of the best bars in America - owner is a big Cardinals fan and there's a sign that says they'll toss you out for talking politics or religion. That's a good spot for a drink or two or three.

New Braunfels/Gruene/Seguin/McQueeny area is a fun getaway. We try and float 2 or 3x a year. The Guadalupe is closed, it's very high right now from releasing water out of Canyon lake. The YETI game was strong on the river today.

Had some EZ7s too.

I hope there's not any rope readily available.

...but if there is, dibs on the Ferrari.

FBD was a Flat Tire, easing my way into what I'm sure is going to be a mix pack of mediocre.

There is a nice splash park near the yacht club in OS. Bring those little snot machines there and let them wear themselves out. Bring a few beverages and enjoy the scenery. The pizza places on gov St are good and kid friendly. Decent beer selections
