Well in that case, well done!

This beer is super good. Remember the whole mid-tier Lagunitas thing? This is a strike against that argument. This is that LL Bean, Rohan2Reed, upper middle class, bougie shite.

Not much too it. Basically white beans with a little ham and no sausage with shrimp added.

Soak a pound of white beans (great northerns) overnight.

Brown about a cup of cubed ham in a few tablespoons of oil. Add about 3 cups of the trilogy and couple tablespoons of minced garlic. Season with thyme, black and red better and cook till soft. Salt as necessary, depending on how salty the ham and stock are.

Add 4 cups of chicken stock and the drained beans and cook until the beans are at desired doneness, adding water or stock as necessary. Check seasonings and salt as it cooks and add as necessary.

When done, reduce heat add a pound of peeled medium shrimp. Cook until the shrimp are just done, 2-3 minutes. (Add more shrimp for the second, third servings.)

Serve over rice.
