I'm starting to see fresh hop beers coming out.

Lagunitas Born Yesterday is on tap locally here. Breakside always comes up with some good ones every year.

Never seen that one. How does it compare to the regular Weedy's?

it's not as good as a (good) regular Weedy's, but it has some real potential to be a killer beer. Honestly, they should just make it an IPA and make it a little more hoppy. It just needs a little more flavor or something. Maybe, I just haven't had a session in a while. worth trying out though for sure if you ever see it in your area, or I could send you some if you wanted.

Yes. I haven't tried it yet, but it is evidently very good according to reports.

Yes, they revamped it recently and were still fine tuning at one point. Not sure if it is basically set yet.

I'd say it is better than crowd control. Less malty with brighter flavors, more drinkable.

OBD: 8/15

My wife is having a martini to celebrate a work victory so I thought I'd join her.

Maybe a hint more bitter but I honestly don't know what everyone is bitching about. Thanks Boudini

My one issue with CC was it had a bit more malt than I liked. DH sounds right up my alley. TBH I've only had DH once and it was years back when it was released. Sounds like I'll be on the hunt soon. Thanks krewe

FBD is an envie, btw.

I like the 8/15 batch, but I do think it is a bit more bitter than those before the July release. Not bitching, just an observation.
