FBD is a Treehouse Eureka (w/ Citra)

About as good as it gets for a blonde ale. Great hoppy aroma and nice tropical/citrus flavors over a decent body. At 4%, I'd prefer something like this over any session IPA.

Maybe we can do a side-by-side at Apex on Friday...

We can include Nortorious, since PTY is probably not going to happen...

Nice find. If only there was a standard for how long the period is between the bottling date and the enjoy by dates.

I don't trust best by dates at all

FBD is a Sweetwater IPA. Solid, as always

Sounds good. I don't think I've ever had a Blonde Ale that had much going on--just a boring style in my experience.

You know my feelings about Session IPAs. The only one I've had that I think is worth drinking is Carton Boat. Granted, I have not had lots of them, but with the exception of Boat, they seem like watered down IPAs to me.

Yep. They mean nothing unless you know how long after bottling a particular brewery deems their beers enjoyable. I know some brewers use 4 months, some 6, etc.

Yes, I am a fan as you know. Thanks for the heads up today. I only grabbed 2 because I did not know how the 3/02 cans would be drinking. Still pretty damn good.

FBD: really does taste like Root Beer, I could get in trouble drinking these.

I'm pretty sure the ones I grabbed last week had the same date and I thought they were great.

Martin's on Perkins has them. I got some Dale's and Deviant Dale's at Calandro's last week, but they did not have any G'Knight.
