Finished the night with a few Old Fashioneds, and a couple other bartenders choices at the tavern.

Monday nights are slow around here.

Had a strange one today. Lavender flavored beer. Its like someone filtered beer through a tshirt straight out of the dryer.

Yea ive also had that coconut porter in the OP and didnt care for it either. Coconut porter was actually gross IMO, this lavender beer was just odd. The after taste was decent but still very weird. A cute novelty i guess. I paid for neither and just sampled 1 so biggie.

Southern Tier did a NOLA exclusive collab with Southern Eagle, a distributor here, that used lavender. I loved it. It was a lavender overload on the front with some dank, hoppy flavors on the back end. It was definitely not for everyone.

I loved the 30/90 or whatever numbers it was.
